About Mobilo
Pakistan’s used-phone market runs on physical trust. You go to Saddar, you know a guy, you hope. Mobilo exists to put something checkable underneath that.
What we are building
A permanent, IMEI-keyed record for every phone that passes through the market: what was checked, when, by whom, and what it said. A marketplace sits on top of that record, not the other way round.
The checker is free and always will be. A tool that asks for money at the moment someone needs it is not a trust tool, and a stolen-phone registry only paying users can search protects nobody.
What we will not do
Mobilo does not buy, hold or own inventory. It does not scrape government systems — being a partner to PTA and CPLC is worth more than the data would be. It does not put third-party trackers on the checker, because a public-safety tool should be able to withstand being looked at.
And it does not render a claim as verified when it is not. That is the whole product.
Where we are
Mobilo is built in Karachi. The registry and the public checker come first; the marketplace follows once the record underneath it is worth something.
